Mother Central Dominates Mullaitivu: KCC Cadet Platoon Crowned Overall 32nd Battalion Champions
Kekirawa Central College's Defense Cadet Platoon was crowned the Overall 32nd Battalion Champions at the 2026 Phase II Assessment Camp held in Mullaitivu from June 21–27. The platoon secured first place in both the Director's and Physical Training tests, second place in Squad Drill and Variety Entertainment, and third place in Hut Inspection, marking a monumental victory for the school’s cadetting legacy.
The cadet platoon of Kekirawa Central College has etched its name in gold once again, delivering a phenomenal performance at the Defense Cadet Boys Platoon Assessment Camp 2026 – Phase II. Showing incredible grit, discipline, and tactical brilliance, our boys completely dominated the competition to bring home the ultimate prize—the Overall 32nd Battalion Championship Trophy.
The grueling assessment camp took place from June 21 to 27, 2026, at the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Training Center in Mullaitivu, bringing together the finest platoons across the region. KCC stood tall above the rest, clean-sweeping major assessments.
A Spectacular Sweep of Victories
Victory at this level requires immense physical endurance and flawless teamwork. The KCC cadet platoon proved their superior training by securing podium finishes across multiple demanding categories:
First Place
- Director's Inspection Test – Evaluated on supreme military discipline, knowledge, and presentation.
- Physical Training (PT) Test – A display of unmatched stamina, agility, and physical conditioning.
Second Place
- Squad Drill Test – Marking absolute precision, synchronization, and timing on the parade square.
- Variety Entertainment Test – Showcasing creative talents, camaraderie, and morale outside of tactical duties.
Third Place
- Hut and Barrack Inspection Test – A testament to top-tier organization, cleanliness, and orderliness under field conditions.
